Our musical team building programs focus on the challenges facing your organization, industry or both. Depending on the size of your group, and other logistics, which define your event, we can do a keynote for 1000, a breakout session for 20, a Songwriting Slam with 4 sub-teams of 35 each, or a just about any combination you choose.
Our musical team building experiences are great for:
Musical Teambuilding keynotes
Musical Teambuilding workshops
Collaborative/Experiential keynote sessions
Songwriting/team building slams
No matter the model, We’ll write a song together with the audience reinforcing your mission and conference theme, all while weaving your key takeaways into the process. Your facilitators are Award-Winning and Hit Songwriters whose songs have been recorded by Josh Groban, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, LeAnn Rimes, Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton and many more.
Planning a successful conference is not easy. We make it easier, by truly focusing on your pain points. Our Nashville-style team building programs are tailored to best fit your needs. All the programs focus on collaboration, creativity, problem solving, communication, innovation, storytelling, and idea generation. They are fast-paced, disruptive and highly interactive. At the end, a grand performance will occur of this new creation, with members of your audience as key participants! (No musical ability required)
The Song Team Residency
Book The Song Team for a two-day residency, and really immerse your audience and your key leadership 3 levels deeper into the process.
Choose 3 of the following:
Opening Experiential Keynote – Large Musical Team Building session – writing the main Chorus as a group, setting the focus for the larger collaborative piece. Starts your conference off with a bang!
Follow-up Breakout/Workshop Musical Team Building session – with key leadership, and pre-selected audience members from across the functionality of your attendees. Deeper brainstorming leads to writing the rest of the song around the already written chorus.
Closing Experiential Keynote – The Song Team, with a Band, and selected audience members perform the finished product and leave the audience with a few key takeaways to reiterate the necessary theme (s) of the conference.
Nashville Song Round – Strictly for entertainment. Our Songwriter/Facilitators provide an intimate evening of performing original songs, telling a few stories “behind the song,” and answering audience questions.
Song Slam – Musical Team Building as a Competition!
Sometimes a little competition is a good thing. It can really get the creative juices going, and the blood pumping! In this program, we follow a “Battle of the Bands” style format.
Your group will be broken down into smaller teams, and each of them will be paired with our award-winning and hit songwriters to create their own version of songs which tell the story of their lives, working for their company, in their industry!
Your company and conference themes, mission and values will be seamlessly woven into the songwriting assignments!
Our professional songwriter/facilitators and musicians lead teams through the brainstorming and writing process.
A nice feature of this program is the marriage of entertainment value, with team building experience. Kill two birds with one stone, and take it easy on your event budget.
Collaboration becomes transparent, idea-sharing becomes the norm, and fun is had by all. At the end, each group will perform THEIR song in front of their peers, supported by a rockin’ band… This is a GREAT way to close out a general closing session. (just a suggestion!)
Looking Outward – Musical Team building for the GOOD
The option to look “outward” for musical team building topic matter, and write a song for and with a local non-profit partner. A song that’s about about them is an exciting addition to our offerings. In recent years some of our clients, have expressed the desire to NOT write about themselves during their program, but rather, to partner with a non-profit of their choice to raise awareness and possibly even funds as part of their Social Responsibility mission. A part of this process can be having your audience, combine part of their conference session with representatives from your partner non-profit, and write THEIR story/song together.
The beautiful outcomes that can occur from these private, public type partnerships are many. Your company will feel great in having helped out a local organization with professional development, fund-raising, donating instruments even. If we put our heads together, we can create a meaningful program that will touch in all of your key takeaways and pain points for this particular conference, AND touch on your non-profit partners’ mission and needs.
Write a Song – Build a Team – Digging a Little Deeper Than Just ONE Event.
How? Glad you asked. If your organization would benefit by bringing our team in for a series of workshops, so that different silos can participate in these intimately sized events, we will work within your budget to achieve the highest ROI possible! Let’s see what we can come up with together to create an ongoing, disruptive, series of programs. Our primary goals, are that your team-members walk away with a clearer sense of the importance their individual voice carries within the context of a team, as well as a fresh outlook on how to best amplify their colleagues strengths…..This is also a great activity for a Board of Directors – who work so diligently to muster the resources to make things happen for their company or organization.
Team Evaluations Available
Organizations sometimes request that based upon our observations of their teams at work, we provide leadership with a written evaluation of their teams. This document describes what we perceive to be the strengths of their teams, as well as the areas where growth and development opportunities exist. They also include suggestions and possible solution paths for the organization to ponder undertaking.
What a fun way to start off the week! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and for leading a session at the conference that was truly unique and which engaged our creativity.

Jeff and his team gave us exercises that allowed for critical team development. One of Jeff’s most valuable assets is his ability to empower others using songwriting as a tool. Our group was so lucky to spend an afternoon with Jeff and Michael.

Jeff’s process was fast-paced, fun and educational. It was highly interactive and it most certainly brought out the creative spirit in everyone. It was unlike any other team-building exercise that I’ve encountered. I would encourage any group wanting a unique and meaningful team-building experience to work with Jeff. It is time well spent.
